Netherlands and into Germany

Yellow squat rounds of Edam cheese are piled up in this shop (left photo). The carillon tower is all that remains of the late gothic church built in 1561 (right photo). Its famous carillon tower has the oldest clockwork in the Netherlands and the bells still ring out a short melody every 15 minutes.
